Karen Czack, American Express
Karen Czack is Vice President of Global Chip Products within the Global Network Business at American Express. She leads a team of network professionals, who are dedicated to shaping and enabling the next generation of payment capabilities, such as contact chip, contactless and other innovative payment solutions that enhance the customer experience.
American Express has enabled the implementation of chip card and contactless products in over 60 countries globally and is currently progressing with EMV migration in the U.S. As such, Karen leads the American Express Enterprise Project Management Office for the U.S. EMV migration. EMVCo manages and maintains chip standards and specifications, with the primary goal of helping facilitate global interoperability and compatibility of chip-based payment cards and acceptance devices.
